The CRF offers the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research on combustion-related problems of global interest using state-of-the-art laser diagnostic technologies and equipment. In addition to occasional temporary and permanent positions, internship and postdoc positions are available.
The CRF offers summer and year-round student internship positions in engineering and physical sciences to undergraduate and graduate students who enjoy working in an exciting R&D team environment and contributing to solving problems of national importance. These positions offer the opportunity for students to gain exposure to Sandia National Laboratories and to potential permanent employment following completion of their formal education. Undergraduate training in chemical, mechanical, environmental, or aerospace engineering or the physical sciences is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
