Informal tours for public and private organizations, such as educational institutions and engineering and scientific societies, can be arranged through the CRF
Operations Department. Sandia’s California Site does not maintain a Visitor Center and has no formal tour program for individual visitors.

Yes. Certain restrictions apply to all visitors, of course, and are explained upon arrival.
In some cases, the research programs can provide cost-of-living allowances based upon the visitor’s needs and expected contribution to the science of the CRF.
At present the CRF does not open up the labs for proprietary research by outside organizations. However, cooperative research & development agreements (CRADAs) have been used for collaborative research involving proprietary research. Contact the appropriate principal investigator or

Yes, the CRF can conduct for a non-federal sponsor through work for others (WFO) agreements.
No. However the CRF has an extensive program for the study of combustion in both spark fired and diesel reciprocating
engines.
