The Combustion Research Facility’s international reputation is due in large part to its world-class team of Ph.D. researchers, technologists, and postdocs. The CRF offers the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research on combustion-related problems of global interest using state-of-the-art laser diagnostic technologies and equipment. In addition to occasional temporary and permanent positions, internship and postdoc positions are available.
Internships
The CRF offers summer and year-round student internship positions in engineering and physical sciences to undergraduate and graduate students who enjoy working in an exciting R&D team environment and contributing to solving problems of national importance. Undergraduate training in chemical, mechanical, environmental, or aerospace engineering or the physical sciences is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
Postdoctoral Appointments
The CRF is always looking for highly qualified postdoctoral fellows to join its research team. We offer a stimulating multidisciplinary research environment and access to unique collaboration opportunities with world-class researchers.
