Sandia participated in the 14th Biennial Conference on Transportation Energy and Policy on August 6–9 in Pacific Grove, California. This conference is organized under the auspices of the Alternative Fuels Committee of the U.S. Transportation Research Board and is hosted by the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis.
This conference focused on national and subnational approaches to reduce oil use and greenhouse gas emissions associated with transportation.
Garrett Barter and Amy Askin (both in Sandia’s Systems Research and Analysis Dept.) and Dawn Manley (Chemical Sciences Group) co-authored (with Argonne National Laboratory and DOE Vehicle Technologies Office) a plenary talk on “What Do Energy and Greenhouse Gas Scenarios Tell Us?” Dawn also served as a session chair and speaker.
